Hi Kyles, he has a great reputation , I worked with a woman who had a band with Charlie a couple of years ago and she said he was a sweetie!
My surgeon Dr Lockie did his fellowship working with Dr Mosse in Canberra!

Hi

I was originally banded by Prof O'Brien in Melbourne in 2000 and then re-banded in Dec 08. All my after care was with Charlie, and yes he is a great Dr, sweet guy and genuine in his concern for me.

He was very loathe to do the sleeve and sent me back to Prof for my revision so I'm not sure what to do?

I started in 2000 @ 142.5kg dropped to 106kg and then by Dec 08 back at 138kg!!! Post 2nd band I am at 140kgish(my scales only go to 136!!) so I am a bit disheartened to say the least.

Hope you can shed some light on this op as a possible option for me??

Thanks & Cheers

Hi,

Im new!! I am "penciled in" for surgery with Dr Mosses on the 28th of April, just waiting to see if my APRA request is approved, its nice to see others that have seen Dr Mosses are happy. The whole team at Deakin have been really nice, and incredibly helpful, they have been really reasuring while I have been making up my mind.

I haven't met Dr Mosse. I'm being sleeved by Dr Ganandah on May 3rd. He is part of the Canberra Bariatric team! Anyone else had him do their surgery?

I have seen Charlie last October, my surgery was planned for Jan 2010. Apra denied my claim which is why i now have another surgery date of 14th July. I found the receptionist at the time wonderful though now she has left. I am seeing Charlie again in June just to go over stuff again but felt very comfortable with him so I hope he comes up with the goods on the day.
