| TexasBell thank you so much! That was so reassuring! My doc told me on our 1 week post op check up that I shouldn't really be hungry and I felt like something was wrong with me... |

| My hunger didn't go until about week 8, the Dr said that was unusual but hey thats me! Looking back it was probably a bit of both - head and real hunger, but the best thing is its gone now, so give it some time and it should all work out. |

| Head hunger or tummy hunger? Hmmm...I guess it's too early to figure this out! The thing is that before the surgery I only stopped eating after I was very full (I could be eating just salad, but I would eat LOADS just to be completely full - I had a 1200cc stomach) and I guess that I shouldn't be aiming for that anymore...
As far as I've understood, it also depends on the person, how early on one benefits from the non-production of ghrelin, right?
Oh Emily, that heavy feeling on the chest! Yup, I get that, mostly with water though. |

| I'm 10 days out and a small amount of thick soup (or thin puree) lets me know about it if I have one spoon too much - just feel it sitting heavy in my chest until it goes through. Definitely not "hungry" but do get that empty feeling and constantly having something, just to try and get my fluids in. |

| are you head hungry or tummy hungry? It takes time to realise which one is which... take your time, make sure you are full with food. Eat protein like it is going out of fashion and things will get better... Love my sleeve! |

| Hey all! I'm 9 days post op and just started mushies. I had some yoghurt, my stomach was full (it felt somehow heavy, I don't know what full is) and I was hungry. I could not eat obviously but still I'm constantly hungry :( Does it sound familiar? Does it get better? Thanks!! |
