PostSubject: Food ideas   Mon 01 Feb 2016, 9:32 pm

Hey! Thanks so much for your replies! Stage 1 was incredibly easy as it is using the meal replacement shakes & clear soups. Stage 2 I made a large pot of vegetable soup, blended it to a pulp. Split it in 2 lots. 1st lot I made bolognese mince using low fat minced beef and a pasta sauce. Cooked as normal then blended to a pulp and added to 1 lot of vegetable soup - high vitamins, and very nutritional! The 2nd lot I made a beef stroganoff with mushrooms and stroganoff gravy, blended to a pulp then added to the vegetable soup. These lasted me very well as I froze them in very small 1/4 to 1/2 cup lots. I also found that I was unable to drink plain water so I mixed 1/2 a cup of low sugar apple juice with 1c of water. This had been incredibly helpful with getting enough fluids each day.

Hi and welcome!

I'm not sleeved yet so can't help with food ideas (sorry!) but I'm sure there are other people here who can! Check out the "What's for dinner" thread in General Chat for some ideas.
