I lost 50 pounds. If you look over this site you will find several that lost even more in the same amout of time. Best part is, keeping it off does not take alot of effort. I do believe eggs fills you up, but can you believe how little it takes. This is why I think vitamins are important. Banana and peanut butter are good too. Give it a try. Go slow......it does not take much. Katrina and Rita will never leave us. We have learned very much about what is important. God has been very good to us.

You're from Louisana! I have 33 cousins who survived Hurricane Katrina. Only one of them has returned to New Orleans.

Thank you for the good advice. I will be sure to have protein first. Yesterday I had two teaspoons of scrambled eggs in the hotel restaurant. I felt like I was going to explore. It took the entire morning for that overfull feeling to leave. When I am brave enough to try eggs again, I'll start with one teaspoon.

Goal in nine months? That is very impressive! Do you mind telling how many pounds you lost?

At two weeks.....best advice would be to slow down and enjoy everyday.....Keep your meals small. Right now you really need to keep your mind on each bite. You will fill up before you realize. I still keep my napkin close. If I am chewing and begin to notice my belly is full from the last bite, I pretend to wipe my mouth and put that bite in the napkin......Try to avoid up-chucking. Just EAT SLOW.....I was sleeved in March 09 and I was at goal before Christmas. As soon as you can, start on vitamins....This is the first time in my life I really needed them. Multi, b complex, B 12, AG pro. Study each and any you think you may need. Study study study.....there is so much info on this site and on the internet. I am a new person and I seem to look at the world in a different way. For now, make sure you get your rest. Exercise is important but for now you need to rest and get all the protein you can. For the first six months, I would eat protein first. You fill quickly and do not get hungry for hours. Now that I am at goal, I weigh several times a week. If I am up a little, I go back to the protein first rule. If I am down a little, I might eat some carbs first. It is soooooo easy. If you go to the diary page....you will find some calculators. They are really cool. I started on this site about a year ago. I do not post as much as most but I really enjoy this site. Take care and enjoy your new life.

Hi!

I am happy to find this area of the website. I want to see those weight lost graphs in pounds instead of kilos. I was sleeved two weeks ago. I am past the uncomfortable recovery stage - what a relief! I am on a business trip today. I am eating blended foods and feeling very satisfied. I've lost 20 pounds in two weeks. There's lots to talk about and would love to share stories, strategies, and ideas with regional people.
