I hope your meet up went well today....sorry i couldnt be there, i was looking forward to seeing everyone, it seems like ages since we met up.
Well my nose is looking rather hideous at the moment with a huge piece of wadding on it covered in skin coloured tape so it looks like i have a massive conker. They have warned me that i will get a black eye as well, but no sign yet....fingers crossed.
They got the BCC in one go so i didnt have to have a graft but it was still quite big so they did what they call a flap closure, where they cut down further then bring the flap of skin up and over the open wound then stitch in place, so the scar will be quite large but they say that it heals nicer than a graft....again, fingers crossed.
I will see how i go later in the week and maybe we could see about a GT next week ???

Still no word on if dad will be out of hospital tuesday if he isnt Ill be at dome.. But wont know til tomorrow.. He didnt sound to good on the phone tonight .. But at his age any surgery takes it out of him.. But the surgery went well, the drs very happy with it ... Phew.....

Hi weightloss going great started at 118.5 now 101, i am real happy with it. Cinni are you still coming on Tuesday at this stage i think it is just chris and me, can you let me know. I am having surgery on Thursday and then have a major operation in the new year, having my urostomy resited having my stomal hernia repaired and having my apron removed so they have a flat area to put the stoma, so prob going to be about an 8 to 10 hour op and about a 2 to 3 week in hospital followed by a fairly long recovery. Hoping to be another 15 kg lighter or more before the surgery date. Glad to hear your doing better Jo. Hope we can meet up another day. Cinni I am still going if you are interested. Let me know.

Hi Nicole, thats kool I dont think Ill be able to make the 20th either , looks like Ill be picking my dad up from Perth, hes just had surgery again...

Im feeling better, not 100% but better.. My Dr told me it will take a few months for my body to get back to its normal self.. I bloody hope not , I just cant seem to get into a good sleep pattern.. Im tired at all weird times.. And sleep like a rock ..

If your free any other day let me know, would love to catch up for a coffee...

As i said in the band site....im not sure if i will make the 20th after all...i forgot im having a skin cancer off my nose the day before in perth so not sure what the hell i will look like...lol

Thanks girls.. Im so excited but with being so sick I havent thought about it today.. I did manage to go shopping for an hour today as my mum has been doing everything in my house and looking after the kids , so thought I better take her out for a quick shop... Was nice to get out of the house but was tired when I got home ..

Oh Jodi I don't know whether to jump for joy for you or console you for being sick! I am glad that the right anti-biotics are prescribed now, sheese no wonder you were feeling so sick! My first born was born on the 13th of Jan so very lucky day in all my kids are born on 'a 13th' as well as my best friend. Now it will be your sleeve birthday

We will be on holiday then dh finally gave in lol (again) and we are going on a 12 nights cruise and a trip to NZ to see family whoo hoo.

Hey Cinni... Im not doing so well.. I have an infected port wound, it started a week ago and I have been very very sick.. Today the hospital rung to say Im on the wrong antibotics so now starting on some new ones... Got an appointment with Dr Thomas on thursday and Im hoping he will book me in to get the sleeve done... Just before xmas if hes not going away...

Hope to catch up on the 20th, just depends on how my dads operation goes on the 16th...

Jodi I had to come looking for you to see how your appointment went on Monday! I am so glad it went well and yippee for getting your date! I am so glad you clicked with the surgeon you didn't seem to click with your one here.

I will be there on Tuesday so long as my 3 year old can go back to childcare that day. She has been home for nearly a week with the flu but she seems to be getting over it but I don't want to risk spreading the joy so I will pencil the get together in for tuesday and hopefully be there. :) (Isn't it strange that out of all these awesome smilies we don't have a normal plain old fashioned smile).

I am strugling I don't seem to be doing well at losing weight, I have cut out junk food and still the weight is hanging around. I am booking a dr's appoinment to see if my thyroid has finally gone ca-poot! Maybe its all those years of yoyo dieting? Anyway I feel better about how I am eating next step might be some exercise. I ordered some exercise dvd's weeks ago and so far they are still sitting there untouched.

Ok enough of me crapping on.

That is wonderful you got a date to have your band removed he is a fantastic doctor, he also got my tummy ready for a sleeve when he took my band out. You will just be so happy with that band out. I am up for a coffee too had a great time last time and tuesdays are fine for me as i am not working any day suits me, but I know Nic needs Tuesday and that would be great as would love to catch up with her also, all have a great week.

Oh should we make it next Tuesday 25th August, 9.30 - 10.00 would be great for me, I dont care where we meet so you can choose.

Hey girls did know where to put this but I have to tell someone .. Tell all of yas ...

I had my appointment with Dr Thomas ( gosh hes soooo lovely) and I get my band out on the 15th of Sept.. Im soooo
excited .. My hubby said I looked like I was at peace... I finally have a date woo hoo... While dr Thomas is in there hes also going to get my body ready for a sleeve.. I havent made the decision to have the sleeve yet.. For now I just want this bloody band out of my body... And Im sure my body wants it out tooo.. Dr Thomas explained why I am having problems and whats happening for my body to have so much vomitting and reflux...My other dr just kept saying "I dont know " sooo it was nice to have some answers ..

Wooo hoooo girls,, I got my date ........ Im sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy..

sorry guys but saturday is going to be a bit hard for me now as well.
