It was driving me mad trying to work that out.

these instructions are for a site called ticker factory......

1. go to www.tickerfactory.com
2. click on weight loss in the weight loss/fitness category 1/3 way down the page
3. select the background picture for your ticker then click next
4. select your slider (this is the thing that will move as you lose weight and update it)
5. choose a password - you will need this everytime you update your ticker
6. fill in the info as required and click next
7. NOW THE IMPORTANT PART!!!!!

7a. On the screen you will see the first box which says BBCode, this coding is what needs to be copied and pasted into your signature on the site.
7b. on the gastric sleeve support site, click on profile
7c. In the signature section the coding you have just copied needs to be pasted, if you want a quote or text put this in the box first, click on preview to see what it looks like.

8. To update your ticker: click on the ticker in a post you have made, this will take you to the website, click update, enter your PIN and save - voila! automatically every post will update with your new ticker!!

Good luck and watch the ticker fly!

I have tried and tried to put my weight loss ticker into my signature.I cant find any instructions in the faqs but did find some in one of the posts.I have made my ticker and in signature i click link which comes up as URL .I then copy the url link on my ticker page and paste it into my sig box , I then click preview and all it shows is the link but no picture, what am I doing wrong?

Oh to be computer literate... just testing this one out

I am trying to move between kg and lb for my fellow sleevers either side of the globe! Its weird here. Everyone is taught kg (and has done for some time) but when you go to the slimming clubs they work in lbs. Thank god for the computer convertors LOL

I am not very computer savvy at all, and for the life of me cannot understand how I put the ticker to stay on the screen everytime you post something.??? Instructions for dummies would be very useful..
