I've had no trouble voting with Firefox, but you might need to allow scripting to be able to vote.

Look for a S with a "no circle" (like no smoking) on the browsers toolbar. If that is there then you probably have scripting blocked. Click on it and then you will be able to accept the script on the page. Then you should be able to vote.

Hiya,

I moved this into the polls and opinions section, and I am wondering if everyone can vote now?
Tell me if you cant, and I will fix.
Good poll BTW!

God I'm blonde sometimes. I've noticed the red line and hadn't given it a second thought. Of course!!! DOH!!!! *input Homer's voice*.

It's actually annoying me too. I know how to spell and it keeps correcting me when I'm right. We definitely need Aussie/English version.

Hugs,

ahhahhahahhhh...i knew it had something to do with a FOX!

Thats a bummer Jezz, i won't bother looking for it then. Given the global envrionment in which we all live now days, Australian or American spelling should be accepted as correct regardless of where you live, IMHO!..

Fading, just going by what you said...is it the little box beside the 'closed tags' doodad? It has the A underlined and is called 'switch to editor mode'? I don't try these things out in case i change something and can't work out how to change it back...

oh the wrong spelled words were underlined so that's how I knew it was here. I did down load Firefox .But this/ that was not the first time I used it.
Oh how can I make the poll be able to add a vote/ I have no idea
Of cause when I says Aussie spelling that is Pommie ( with love) too.

I am absolutely in agreement for an Australian spell check. I keep thinking I can't spell when my words come up with a red dotted line underneath them.

Belly you crack me up. It's firefox and I'm using it but still can't find a spell checker.

It has nice templates for your webpages that you can change so it is nicer and a bit different to IE.

You're a nut but I love you.

Jezz, you can. I managed to find the setting and oh my god i am as computer litterate as a snail, lol! And i've got stupid Vista and Word 2007, both of which suck the big one! Just off the top of my head, i don't rememver where they were though. If i can find it again i'll tell you where it was :)

Janey, maybe its got something to do with that flyingfox(?) programme they were talking about the other day? I'm pretty sure i'm not using that....well...where did that snail go, lol! And i definatley don't have spell check available :(

Oh my god, you do not know how much I wish that I could make Spellcheck on MSWord stop reverting to American spelling every 5 minutes - I get marks deducted from my uni assignments for using American spelling. So yay for Aussie spelling in general!

Well, it is an international forum but hosted here in Oz so I say Come on Aussie Come On for the spell-checker.

Hi Fadding,

Do we have spell check now, woohoo! Where is it, i can't find it?

I think it should be in australian too (no offence to our lovely international contingent ) but it wouldn't let me vote.
