| As I am 5'8" and still 88 kgs I have gone from 16H to 16DD any smaller would have looked silly, it would have been better to lose the extra weight before but I was having too much back pain, now I have only had a few days, probably related to my hormones so exercising will evetually be easier. Unfortuantely on Friday I need to have a hysterctomy done rather sooner than expected, if I had lost the extra weight I could have had a tummy tuck at the same time!!! I healing well, jsut had a small infection or could possibly be jsut inflammation but due to impending surgery I'm on antibiotics. It's turning out to be the easiest time. Exactly one month between ops and at the same hospital. Oh well, you never know what life will bring.Nicola |

| i made an interesting discovery when i went looking for a new bra - needed to get one that doesn't do up at the back, but can tuck all the extra side bits into - a major problem for me! anyway, of course i looked at the sports bras, amnd i did get one that's not bad - but i accidentally picked up a maternity bra - and it is fantastic! ok, it has functions that i don't need, but who cares? so if all else fails for you, too, try the hestia maternity bras - i ended up with different ones, and they're bioth good. _________________ Sleeved 23/6/08 by Dr Michael Talbot in Sydney Heaviest weight 150.5kg Height 160cm (5'2") Current weight 74.7 Bust From 148cm down to 101cm now - a total loss of 47cm Waist 144cm down to 100cm - total loss of 44cm Hips 150cm down to 104cm - total loss of 46cm Arms 47 cm down to 31cm - total loss of 16cm Legs 81 cm down to 52.5cm - total loss of 28.5cm

| thanks for yr reply Max, I was a little worried about being too small because the surgeon said to me with my height and build a bigger breast would suit me....ummm hello I dont want bigger breasts lol... the reason i'm getting my arms done before my tummy is losing 30kg so quick my arms have gone to ruin..i had large arms before but now they jut empty skin and look horrible. My tummy I can disguise with the right underwear etc but I would love to wear sleeveless..I dont & havent worn sleeveless for many many year.. We don't live near the beach, about 2hrs away. I'm going to be moving in April so don't want to be a hinderance on myself by not being about to lift/move etc...I will wait until we live closer to the city, I will have more support there :-) _________________ cheers Jo

| oh I forgot to add, summer was a great time to have the surgery as I believe Ocean Water is great for healing wounds so I try to get to the beach everyday to swim in the rock pools to help with the healing of the wounds and scars. Now trying to work out same for tummy tuck rather than do it in winter, no way going swimming in ocean then. If I do it mid to late March still have some warm weather for swimming, any later than that and I may wait not sure as I just so want it done yesterday and only have 9 kilos left to lose. Who knows some of that may go just in skin from tummy. Max _________________

| Hi Chrisbychic I know you have been wanting a breast reduction for some time, you will get there, everything happens for a reason and your shoulder surgery was obviously more of a priority for now. PerthJo, I was a size 24 DD - EE and sometimes even bigger, as I used to ooze out of these at times. As I lost weight I was still in DD's but smaller sizes. I am now a 12c and as happy as a pig in shit. (Bought my first 12c bra the other day) My husband was dissapointed expecting bigger Pamela Anderson boobs, but that was never my intention. I wanted managable boobs that were normal size so the first thing people didn't look at was my chest. I don't have poached eggs, still more than a handful (Not 3 handfulls as they were before) I think they are perfect for my new size, they are perky, they sit up and I am so much more confident I look better. Although I was always Fat I used to think I wouldn't look so big if I didn't have such enourmous boobs. When I saw the surgeon originaly I told hime I didn;t want to be to small as I have been big forever I didn't want to be flat chested. I think a bit of boob is nice. I had never considered having my arms done as it was a big deal for me to do boobs and now i really want a tummy tuck which I will do this year. My arms will just have to sag for now but I am really happy for you. You will be very happy I know. I would recommend this surgery to anyone who needs it as it has made a huge difference to me and my confidence. Now I just have to remember to keep my shoulders back as I tend to hump over from years of big boobs. I was nervous too before having it done but as I say am so happy next is tummy which I never had considered till after i did my boobs, but the difference is amazing. Good Luck and keep us informed. I was a 20DD have gone down to a 16D would be happy with a 14C.... _________________ cheers Jo

And yes, I'm envious of you, too - but have to recover from my shoulder surgery before even thinking about going ahead with my breast reduction (and saving up for it, too!). | Hi, I'm just 6 weeks done last Monday, while the incisions have healed I can't say the swelling has completely gone nor would I say all back to normal. All is ok, but I am expecting a full recovery over the next 12 months. For example, I like to put my arm above my head when I sleep on my tummy, this does pull at the tight stitching, no problem, just need to remember as it does hurt a little but it is just a matter of healing. Also I have a 3cm x 5cm hematoma under 1 breast which may take up to 12 months to slowly disolve. But all said and done, I am extremely happy with the end result and know it will only get better from here. I have more confidence in getting a Tummy Tuck now, so thats next. Anyone thinking of breast surgery for reduce or just remove excess skin, I say go for it. I love my new size boobies, now in proportion to the rest of me. Small. hehehehehe. Max _________________

Still abit sore at times, she said its from the nerves that have been cut. I have some cute girlies now though and no back pain (and that's with having to sit up in bed at night) |

| I hear you Max. I'm nearly at my first goal of 67 kgs - but plan to try and get below 65 and perhaps even to the low 60s. I'm going to add exercise into the equation and then decide midway through next year whether I'll put myself through it - I'm not as young as I used to be, and perhaps it may not be a good idea. But will definitely look into it! I would do it without hesitation if I was 10-15 years younger. But I hate the 'apron' look. Thank goodness for lycra panties. _________________

| My surgeon, removed just under 1 kilo. 535grams on one side and 435grams on the other. I also felt he had taken too much, but after the bruising settles and you can see it all properly, I am now more than happy, they are the right size for my new size, small, but probably still a d cup, small compared to what I was used to. Best thing I ever did after the Sleeve of course. A tummy tuck will be next some time next year, I am now 8 kilos from goal weight and there is no way all that tummy will go with just 8 kilo's so it must be skin needing to be removed and yes I am going to do it, why do the sleeve, then boobs only to be left with an old body everywhere else. Tummy Tuck here I come sometime next year after reaching goal weight and making sure I absolutely cannot get rid of that tummy apron any other way. Max _________________

| Hi Everyone ,thank you for your good wishes. All seems to have gone well. Whether I really do have a low pain thresh-hold or it is more sore than they say, but I had quite a bit of pain needed moprhine, but just sore now. I was in 2 nights, which I needed. Nt easy to rest even with a 10 year old at home.Thank you Sue for the lift home much appreciated. I've lost 1.65kgs in total. My surgeon was Andrew Crocker (he is head of plastics at RPH). I feel alot lighter and slimmer, my friends say they are just are just the right size. When I first saw them looking down at them in bed I thought 'heck he's taken off too much they are so small' but he assured me it was just right for my frame and my husband agrees. Rather a scary moment. Anyway need to go rather tired going to rest now. Nicola |

| Hi Girls, Thanks for all ya kind words. Yes I do feel awesome, I still can't believe it is me. I went and bought a tank top at Big W yesterday, a size 14 OMG!!!!! I have never worn a size 14 in fact it was once very difficult for me to find any kind of swimming top to fit even the size 22 & 24 didn't fit except for covereing the nipple. Anyone considering the operation, I say go for it. I was very nervous leading up to it, worried how I would feel once they were gone, stupid huh, well let me tell you, I wish I hadv'e done it ages ago, but then had to loose the weight first which I couldn't do until I got the sleeve. Thank You Sleeve for my new life, new body and new boobs. So anyone wanting to see these before and afters you will find them in the gallery. Note, this surgery like any should not be taken lightly, it is a big step and a major shock on the body, but if you have boobs too big to handle, do it!!!! Max _________________

| Hi Chrysalis I'm now 12 days post op and getting better every day. It is a bigger operation than the sleeve as they are cutting into you. You will be fine, I was worried about how I would feel after about no longer having these boobs that i have lived with for so long, but I feel great about it now. Love my new shape, I discovered I had a waist under those boobs. Expect to rest and do nothing for at least 7 days. It is exciting Good Luck on the day Max _________________
