I went to one in sydney last year befor ei moved to sth coast , and OMG so many things came true im really freaked out NOW, at the time i was like yeah sure...freaky lady, but no...she even told me my dead grandfathers name, which i didnt even know???? she was saying to me hes waving at you, his name is blah blah, im like no...dont know wnayone of that name, then she says its a dead grandfather??? and pridicted other stuff, i even taped it, and it only cost me $30.00 im going back to her when im in sydney in october, so i can be freaked out again, this woman is soooo booked out, she just does it in a caravan in the front of her house, usually at night.....freaky
anyway im just saying I AM a believer.....

oooh. Can you let me know how much it costs and stuff. I would love a reading too. I have had two recently, one last week and the other jan 08 and both times a particular thing has come up. Would love to see if someone else picks it up also cause I can't fathom it ever happening but seeing as it's come up twice now a third time and someone completely different would cement it for me.

Doris Stokes was amazing. I totally agree. Her's was the first book I read when my Mum had passed and I started looking into these things. I agree that there are a lot of hoaxers out there taking people for a ride.
I went and saw John Edward when he was here in Perth and he was very impressive.
I'm currently addicted to Lisa Williams and her show on Foxtel. She is the real deal and her book is amazing too.
Glad you believe as it does bring with it a lovely feeling of something to look forward to at the end of this life and the knowledge that love never dies. It just manifests in different ways.

Thanks Janey. I do believe in an afterlife and spirits from that existance being able to see what we are up to and sometimes communicate with us. I believe that some people do have a gift and are more sensitive to those spirits than we are. I just don't believe that everybody that claims to be a psychic medium is the real deal. I also wish that I was more receptive to that sort of thing so that I could feel close to my loved ones that have passed myself.
I saw John Edward a few years ago and used to watch his program. I have also read one or two of his books.
I have read a book by Alison Dubois too and from what I hear, I believe that Doris stokes was genuine.
Many years ago after the death of a loved one I read everything I could find on near death experiences. I am convinced of an afterlife. The experiences are so similar and cross social, cultural and religious barriers so there has to be something in it.

Deb, I've had few readings by email from overseas and the general trend is to pay by credit card or Paypal and then you provide your full name and DOB and then a couple of days later you will be sent your reading. Costs vary greatly though.

I am interested in the practicalities of how you get your money from people overseas. Do they pay by credit card or Paypal or something before you do their readings?

Please forgive me, I am a believer but also a bit sceptical at the same time. I think there are a lot of fakes out there.

Also I wish I was more in tune myself so that I could be open to messages and promptings and more certain of my path.
