Hi Libby and Gail. That's actually a good idea about going to the gym together. People who exercise with a partner succeed more often than those who work alone. We feel responsible to our partner so it keeps us going.

I hope you both learn to enjoy your exercise.

Marion

Hey Libby come to the little gym with me, Dave is great and I would be more likely to look forward to going if you were there too.

Wish you were in Adelaide. I had a personal trainer about 2 years ago and loved it. My husband and I did it together. I need to do something to tone while I lose weight. Might have to look at going back to the PT sooner rather than later.

Hi, I qualified as a Personal Trainer almost 2 years ago and I train clients in my own private gym at my home. I live in the Rockingham area. My rates are extremely competitive and I give discount if you train more than once a week. I will also do buddy training and train small groups. I am happy to train anyone but I specialise in training overweight, obese and WLS clients. I work out exercise programs to suit each client and take into account things like injuries, joint pain etc. I also do some boxing exercises if my clients would like to try this but I don't do sparring. My home gym is fully equiped for all types of exercise.

I was obese myself 5 years ago, then I was banded and got to my goal weight in 15 months. In the last year or so I have had some trouble with my band and had it removed last month. I will have the sleeve done in Jan 2010. I find that my clients feel comfortable with me training them as they know I have been in their position so I know how they are feeling. Also the fact that they do not have to go to a gym makes my clients happier and less self conscious.

If you are interest in coming to train with me please send me a private message or email me on grandbear54@hotmail.com

I hope I have posted this in the right area of the board, if not I apologise.

Thanks
Marion
