If by IBS you mean Irritable Bowel Syndrome then yes I have it. I was diagnosed over 20 years ago and pretty much just ignore it as nothing can be done. If something gave me problems I didnt eat it anymore.

I am almost 3 months post op and I have been fine. In fact my migraines have been very good and tummy pretty happy so far.

Thank You for answering...Did you have reflux or ibs before your gastric sleeve?
If so, is it better or worse now. I am afraid it might get worse after surgery...then I am in worse shape. So I am trying to find out before surgery. thankyou pat

Jessie, I had reflux but my doctor hits it really hard with anti reflux medication both am and pm in the larger doses.....I did have some reflux pain post op but not much really mainly because I felt like I was full of gas. Which I was . lol and lots of anti nausea meds too. You should ask your surgeon about the IBS though.

What's that Mediplan? Hmmm... You have also no idea about them...
Then, I'll take a research about it. Just only for you.

A. You could always approach your bank but they may not provide this loan.

B. You can use a company that specifically provides loans for Surgical procedures.

The one I know of is
http://www.surgicredit.com.au/

They have a calculator on the site.

I am not sure what you need to consider a reasonable amount of $$ if you are paying for surgery this way. I would suspect a sleeve would be aroung the $10,000 mark.
