HI Everyone

Thank you all for the well wishes- I am traveling along fabulously- Even got discharged a day early from hospital for doing so well.

I was up and about in the ward same day which I think helped a lot. Minimal pain and nausea, occasional tightness feeling in the tummy area when I drink.

It's now day 4 since surgery on Wednesday and I am able to drink those little Berri Apple Juices 110ml's comfortably in about half an hour. Trying to remember to sip slowly.

No hunger what so ever- today I had a special yogurt drink (old recipe) which felt really soothing on my insides. Couple of spoons of natural yogurt a sprinkle of salt and icy water mixed to a milkshake like consistency..

I am surprised I am doing so well and really happy with everything at this point. More importantly I am really happy I made the decision to use Dr Craig Taylor and team from the O Clinic they were absolutely remarkable and took excellent care of me.

Will keep you all updated and Good Lucky Red and Mick your in the best hands with Dr Taylor and his Team:

Hey, BingoButt - welcome to the other side. Don't worry, you'll be feeling a lot better in a few days - I found walking around the ward was the best thing to help any kind of discomfort.
Best wishes

Welcome to the losers bench.

The pain could just be the swelling and stuff. Are you still on pain pump? If you are don't be afraid to use it often as that is what it is there for. Otherwise if you are only on panadol make sure you have it when it is offered and even ask for a bit stronger if need be.

Oh and the sip sip sip is more like sip wait 30 seconds at least then sip wait 30 seconds sip.

HI ALL

Day 1 of my new life- taking the time to report in via the hospital bed. Surgery went well. I am up and about. My new tumy feels kinda weird.

It feel like i got hunger pains can anyone relate to that. When I burp it sort of hurts, but when I drink/Sip it feels like a hunger pain..

I'm also coughing up a little blood with flem- i guess thats from smoking though

Any am happy its over with and on the other side of the fence, Dr Craig Taylor and team your ALL Legends!
