I just saw your pic in the gallery and wow what a photo....you look fantastic for having just climbed a mountain....and the scenery is just stunning...congrats on getting to the top, something you will probably remember for the rest of your life.

I'm so happy that you got to reach one of your goals. 2 Hills in 2 days is very impressive - you must have been sore after though.

Keep on enjoying every second - I think most of us can say we have let far too many slip away from us.

Jilly, I actually sweated like a pig LOL. So much so that my hair was wet when I was at the top.
Thanks for your comments Janey. I probably look like a twig on the top half because I have no boobs LOL. Believe me there is plenty of me in other places. Not planning on dropping more after I reach goal but we will see what my sleeve has in store for me. My surgeon reckons I should weigh 4kgs less than my goal weight.

Great photo Deb. Girl you look like you need to put on weight not lose it!!! Make sure you don't lose anymore than 3kgs. You're a twig now.

I hope you're as proud of yourself as I am of you. Well done.

Hey Deb how come you look so good!!!!! doesn't even look as if you worked up a sweat - good on you girl - you look great and so pleased you made it to the top and can't believe you did it all again on Sunday - your just so fit!

Mama, what a lovely message. I felt really touched.
Shanna I am not a "skinny bilink" yet but in a few weeks I hope to be a "normal" bilink LOL.
I did have a lovely day. The weather was wonderful. We finished our descent just before dark and the lighting was lovely. We were also very lucky with that as it could have been a bit treacherous in darkness. I sweated heaps on the way up and panted like Darth Vader. I will post a picture of me at the top soon. My hair was wet with sweat. I was jumping up and down like an excited kid at the peak of Bluff Knoll and also when we got back to the car at the end.
The massage and facial afterwards were lovely. The lady found kinks, lumps and sore bits that I didn't even know I had- especially in the shoulders and at the base of my head. She thinks I should see a chiropractor. I will wait and see how I go.
The pizza, gourmet platter and the next day's breakfast were huge and I have brought lots of leftovers home as well as throwing out quite a bit of really good food eg stuffed olives, pate and lots of other lovely nibblies went to the chooks on the property.
We had breakfast on the balcony of the chalet overlooking the Stirling Ranges and watching the birds and some boxing kangaroos. When they had finished their biffo they just hopped off together like nothing had happened. We had a lovely spa before heading back to the Stirling Ranges for another hike this morning. This time it was Mount Trio. It is not as high as Bluff Knoll but is a steeper climb with lots of loose shale and vegetation overgrowing the track so a bit more dangerous both on the way up and down. I have to admit that my legs are a bit sore tonight! I am sure I will sleep well.
I can't believe I climbed two mountains in two days. Last year stairs were a challenge.

Have a great naughty weekend - enjoy the climb but mostly enjoy the wine, food, massage and spa. We are all really envious but you so deserve it girl. This is what you worked so hard for - to have lost 45 plus kg is amazing and you did it by your 40th, your goal.
