It's actually a Nerve Function Test.
If you do it properly and start the 6 at the top and your foot changes direction, then there is on nerve damage to the motor function to the brain.
On the other hand, DON'T PANIC if your foot didn't change direction, you might just need further testing for fine motor control.
Either that or you have a abnormal nerve cluster that joins the two halves of the brain (nothing to worry about)

OR AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME

You can do it if you write the 6 beginning at the circle so you are writing it backwards.

You have to try this!
It takes 2 seconds.
I could not believe this!!!
It is from an orthopedic surgeon... .

This will boggle your mind and it will keep you trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't.
It's pre-programmed in your brain!!

1. Without anyone watching you (they will think you are GOOFY....) and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and move it clockwise in circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand.
Your foot will change direction.
I told you so!!!
And there's nothing you can do about it!

You and I both know how stupid it is.
But, before the day is done you are going to try it again & again & again - if you've not already done so.
