I was really disappointed as the two cholesterol medications I have already tried both gave me nasty side effects (joint pain for one and a foggy brain for the other).

My doctor said there is something else I can try, but I was wondering if any of ...

Happy Birthday Deb for tomorrow.

Have a great naughty weekend - enjoy the climb but mostly enjoy the wine, food, massage and spa. We are all really envious but you so deserve it girl. This is what you worked so hard for - to have lost 45 plus kg is amazing and you did it by your 40th, your goal.

Just having a whinge....

I have quite a few pairs of trousers and jeans that are now a little too big, and in order to save money i decided that i would alter them myself rather than buying new clothes.

So I took the hems up first - cos that was easier, and then I took them in.

Have now realised that all of the trousers are now too short (like halfway up to my knee) as the trousers now sit higher up on my waist instead of on my hips.

And yes - I cut the excess fabric off ...

Well, everything was huky-dory until day 15.

I had just finished my post-op checkup with my surgeon and was returning to my car when I was struck by a sharp pain on my lower left side as well as my left shoulder. Crippling pain, shortness of break and sweating. I returned to the doctor's and he monitored me and my BP for about an hour. Couldn't figure out what the problem was. After 60 minutes, the pain went away and I chose to go home. By time I got there, I felt bad again. Took pain meds ...

It's a place to whinge and moan about not getting enough sleep.

It's also a place to suggest solutions, try new things and post about how they worked.

It's probably one of the worst clubs to belong too, as any seasoned insomniac will tell you, but we need to stick together to try and beat this torturous condition. And it is the worst form of torture if you suffer from it every night. Nothing on earth beats a good, ...

I have been wondering if many suffer from extreme cold after the weight loss? Yes, I realise that there is not as much blubber for insulation, but some days I just can't manage to get warm.

I need to pay in full a month before travel -what if I do this and get to the airport and no one is there - what if its a scam ?

I would have it in the UK but personally the aftercare isnt great, and ...

Hi everyone! I recently got sleeved two weeks ago. Followed the diet- drinking nearly 100 grams of protein a day. My surgery is kinda a secret because my BMI is lower than usual. My weight going into surgery was 170 pounds (77 kgs) and I am currently 160 pounds (72 kgs). My goal is 100-110 lbs (45kgs-50kgs). I'm only 5 '1 and I'm pretty small boned. Anyone else start out with a lower BMI?

Hi all,
I have been wondering if many suffer from extreme cold after the weight loss? Yes, I realise that there is not as much blubber for insulation, but some days I just can't manage to get warm.
I am also suffering with very cold hands and feet, a by-product, I am sure, of bad circulation.
Am I alone with this problem?

Regards,

Hi everyone
It's coming up to one year this week since I've been sleeved, and there are several others around the same time, so I thought I'd start this thread so we can all put our anniversary thoughts in one place.
But I think I'll wait until the actual day to post mine!

Please help before I go crazy. My daughter is scheduled for her surgery next week and I thought I was cool about it. But I am no longer sure. I spent a sleepless night yesterday wondering what would become of her later in life. She is 27, very vivacious, but unhappy with her weight. She tried the band, lost loads of weight, but later had problems with eating. She was so thin and in trouble so the band was removed.

I know that she will do well with the sleeve. I know that it will make her ...

Hi There,

I hope you can help me. I had my surgery on May 28th. I had a slight complication and went in for a cat scan and everything came back normal. When I went for my follow up visit 3 weeks later, my doctor told me to start eating whatever I like as long as I can tolerate it. Now I am concerned and not sure that I should be. I am eating normally. I am now eating about 4-6 ounces at a time and drinking 100 ounces throughout the day. I am having trouble retaining water and with ...
