That absolutely sucks! I thought we could have our super wherever we wanted it now, and were not locked in like that, and it must be one of the very few that you can't access for early release, too. Might have to talk to your local MP and get them to look into it - but in the meantime, good luck with the bank.

Yep like you said, had it out a couple of times with different people to see if the reply was any different.

no provision for it
no ability to move any of mine, even the voluntary contributions, unless i resign from SA government

the snooty person told me to take it up with cabinet if i wanted changes

I have only ever workked in the government so i have no other choice

so its off tot he bank i go!!

i did check with Super SA and they have no provision for early release so they told me, even on mine and i am entitled to take it out in december if i want to, maybe i should have pushed harder with them but i just tried one of my other super policies ING and they do.

Question has anyone accessed there super funds for the out of pocket expenses from the State Gov super in SA.
